Be The Best Version Of You

Welcome from the Head

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Pinchbeck East C. E Primary Academy website, which we hope will provide you with a flavour of life at our wonderful school.

We are part of the family of 13 schools that make up Infinity Academies Trust, a Trust that enables the uniqueness of each school to flourish and feel very much a part of the whole.  Ephesians 4:16 teaches us  "He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."   As with all other schools within the Trust, we feel very much that we are contributors to the development of the whole organisation, and the whole organisation contributes and supports our school development.

Our values at Pinchbeck East  encourage every child to flourish and to be the best version of themselves. This is rooted in our biblical quote from Luke 6 v3.1; 'Think of the kindness you wish others would show you, and do the same for them.'

We recognise the school's historic foundation, and we will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England/Church in Wales and in partnership with the Churches at parish and diocesan level. We aim to serve our community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promote Christian values through the experience we offer to all our pupils.

Every child in our school knows they are valued, knows they have a voice and know that voice will be heard. We have high aspirations and expectations for every child and all we ask in return is that every child gives their best with an open and inquisitive mind.

We have high aspirations and expectations for every one of our pupils and all our staff are committed to providing the highest quality of education to ensure every child has every opportunity to achieve and succeed.  Children’s progress is monitored carefully throughout their time with us so that we can provide relevant intervention, challenge and support where necessary.  We want our children to be literate and numerate but we also want them to develop a love and interest in a range of subjects.  We want to encourage a ‘can do’ approach and attitude; we want our children to have the confidence to have a go and try; we want our children to leave at the end of Year 6 as confident students with enquiring minds and a love of learning.

It is important to make the right choice for the start your child’s education and whilst our website can give you a window into our school, an actual visit will provide you with an insight into life at our school and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.  Visits are, therefore, always welcome; we always enjoy meeting new, as well as existing parents and carers.  Please contact the school office to make an appointment to visit.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school and working with you throughout your child’s time at Pinchbeck East Church of England Primary Academy.

Yours sincerely
